Kevin Michael “Toby” McKeehan (born October 22, 1964 in Fairfax, Virginia), better known as TobyMac, is a popular Grammy Award winning artist, producer and songwriter. TobyMac is one of the first Christian rappers. He was first known for being a member of the Christian trio DC Talk, being with them in the period from 1989 until their announced break in 2000. Since then he has continued a successful solo career with the release of three studio albums: Momentum (2001), Welcome to Diverse City (2004), and Portable Sounds (2007), and two remix albums first two albums titled Re: Mix Momentum and repair of various cities, respectively. TobyMac had six # 1 Hit Singles CHR, including “Made with love” and “Lose My Soul”. His live concert CD + DVD Combo album, alive, and transported, was released in 2008 and received a Grammy award for best rock or rap gospel album at the 51 th Grammy Awards ceremony in 2009.TobyMac tickets sing solo music differs from DC Talk rock-based music style, leaning toward a more urban sound of hip-hop. His song “Slam” was used in the film “Never Back Down, advertising film break Transporter 2, Aeon Flux” and “Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, as well as advertising in the television show” Prison. Song also starred in advertising vehicles, men’s NCAA clips, NBA Finals (Miami Heat, 2006), World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) programming, NFL Football videos, and “The Ultimate Highlight ‘on Sportscenter. “Diverse City” was used in an episode of Veronica Mars, the wrath of Con. Ohio Valley Wrestling singer Matt Cappotelli (who is currently unable to meet due to a brain tumor) uses the “Slam”, as his entrance theme. Many more songs TobyMac event were also used in commercials. “The atmosphere” has been used in commercial vehicles Volvo, “Burn For You” was used for cinnamon rolls gum (as well as advertising Dr. Phil), “Ignition” is currently used by ABC / ESPN to promote its coverage of NASCAR, and “Boomin” was also used to promote a new crime drama, the murder of the women’s club, on ABC, as well as others.
