Medic Droid was Powerpop / synth-pop-rock band from Phoenix, Arizona.The Medic Droid was launched in 2005 with Chris Donathon, Hector Bagnod and Johnny Chavez (Droid). Bagnod and Donathon first met in 2003, but Donathon moved away from the city after they met, only to return (and the start of) a few years later.The Medic Droid tickets group received an initial strong following through social networking site MySpace; by mid-2008 song “Fer Sure “If logged nearly 2 million plays on siteand group has accumulated more than 100000 friends there.Soon they saw their former coach Avery Andon, who brought the band to New York where they played their first live show opening for Enter Shikari at Bowery Ballroom and caught eyes & R from Epic Records who subsequently move to the signing of the group. The group eventually made two new songs “to be no worse than others” and “FScene8″, enlisted the support of Australian DJ S3RL to remix these songs. In 2007, Johnny Droid left the band because of problems with other members and created their own one-man band called J0hnny. In 2009, he announced he was doing a strip with S3RL called R0bots. A few months after the departure of Johnny Droid, Medic Droid hired Storm. The storm stuck with them for several months, and then left the band in early 2008. Later, they hired Greg Rudawski as a drummer for live performances.Medic Droid event was signed to Modern Art Records, the local indie label distributed Phoenix Epic Records. They wrote and recorded their debut album What’s Your Medium? and he was released on June 10, 2008. What’s Your Average reached # 33 on the chart Billboard Heatseekers.
