Ladytron is an electronic pop band originally formed in Liverpool, UK.Ladytron appeared in the summer of 1999 when Liverpool musicians and DJs Reuben Wu and Daniel Hunt, met Dual Glasgow singers Helen Marnie and Bulgarian born Mira Aroyo. Name of the group was taken from the eponymous song from Roxy Music.Their debut album, 604 (2001), was released on Emperor Norton / Invicta HIFI labels. The single “Playgirl” brought some national and international attention to the group.Light & Magic (2002) was released wider impact and include underground Hits “Seventeen”, “Evil” and “Blue Jeans”. After 18-month tour in support of the album Light & Magic, Ladytron tickets recorded their third album, Witching Hour (2005). The album was released with two singles: “Sugar” and “Destroy Everything You Touch”. Groups were awarded 5 NME single of the week in this process.Ladytorn event completed its fourth studio album, Velocifero, in February 2008.It was all over the world, the full release of June 3, after the Top 40 after two weeks of exclusive release on ITunes. Velocifero was recorded in Paris with a group handling production duties collaboration with some of Alessandro Cortini (Modwheelmood, Nine Inch Nails) and Vicarious Bliss (Justice, DJ Mehdi). Velocifero was the most successful release of today.
