Britny Fox is an American glam metal band from the Philadelphia area, was originally active from 1985 to 1992 then subsequently reforming in 2001.They are best known for their music video for “Girlschool” (U.S. # 81) and their hit “Long Way To Love” (U.S. # 100). Britny Fox tickets established in 1985 in Philadelphia. The group was originally the facade of the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Dizzy “Dean Davidson. The band released a demo under the name in America in 1986, which the drummer Tony Destra reportedly played. Self-government group called the debut album, released in 1988, was one of the most successful premiere season 1988-89 sold over a million copies and attracting more than 625,000 fans of their 130 + shows. They also won Metal Edge Magazine’s 1988 Reader’s Choice Award for best new group. After the release of second album in 1989, the boys in the heat, Davidson went, and formed a group Blackeyed Susan. He was replaced by a Las Vegas native Tommy Paris. Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde and Poison drummer Rikki Rockett stayed on the third album the group, Bite Down Hard, which was released in 1991. Nevertheless, the popularity of glam metal in the sunset at the time of the album’s release in connection with the growing popularity of grunge movement. Britny Fox event disbanded in 1992. Michael Kelly Smith was previously in an earlier version of fellow glam-metal band Philadelphia Cinderella before her dismissal, and then Tony Destra also played with them.
