“Thanks for the music” was the twenty-sixth and final UK single of Swedish pop group ABBA, released in November 1983 in order to facilitate development of Epic Records Thank You For The Music: Collected songs about love. Super Trouper album track “Our Last Summer” was the B-Side.”Thank you for the music” was actually recorded six years ago, in 1977, and features on the plates of the album. It was also a b-side in 1978 single “Eagle”, which itself was only released in limited territories, namely, Belgium, West Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland and Australia. “Thank You For The Music tickets” is also included in the ABBA: The Movie. However, it was released as a single party in South Africa, where it peaked at number 2 in August 1978 and became the 18 th biggest selling single of this year.Agnetha Fältskog sang lead vocals, with Anni-Frid Lyngstad to join the choir. “Thanks for the music event” was intended to be part of a “mini-musical” called “The Girl with the Golden Hair” (a phrase which is used in songs), which Songwriters Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, included the 1977 Tour Abba’s. This was the opening track in the four songs on the music, along with “I Wonder (Departure)”, “I’m a marionette” and “Get On” Carousel. “These tracks appear on the album, except the last one, which continues to this day Unreleased. “Thank you for the music” is more famous in its own right these days: they make their way in the world of musical Mamma Mia!.
