Leslie & LY is a pop music group from Ames, Iowa, that began as an open Mike trio in 2004. Leslie & LY’s consists of front-woman Leslie Hall, also known as Mother Gem, who composes all the music, usually with most Apple Computer software GarageBand. Other past and current members include, DJ Dr. Laura on the turn tables, Grades K on keytar and dance, and obesity on the E turn tables, Sassy Cassie, & K with double L on backing vocals.Hall has since created a mobile museum of Gem Sweaters, which doubles as the official tour group of vehicles and a gift shop / museum, which sometimes appears on her show. Leslie & LY tickets has been featured in Vice magazine, on television with VH1 and G4, and had music videos featured on Atom Films and Yahoo! From the home page.
