St. Johns Red Storm basketball team is St. John’s University in Queens, New York. The team participates in the Big East Conference. Men’s team is currently coach Norm Roberts.St. John is the 5 th most winningest program in college basketball history (1,673 wins), and 7 th best winning percentage (.680) in the NCAA. St. John’s boasts a 7-best NCAA Tournament performances (27), two wooden National Player of the Year “winners, 11 consensus All Americans, 6 members of the College Basketball Hall of Fame, and has sent 59 players in the NBA. However, in the Top 5 teams, Kentucky, North Carolina, Kansas, Duke and St. John, St. Johns Red Storm tickets is the only team not to win the NCAA championship in basketball, and is currently a NCAA Division record for most NCAA Men’s Basketball Section I of the phenomena without a championship. Play Red Storm, most of their home games at Madison Square Garden, the most famous arena, and their early non-conference games are held at Carnesecca Arena at St. John’s campus in Queens.  St. John’s University is the second best winning percentage on the New York School in the NCAA basketball tournament (Second City College of New York – which has won two NCAA Div 1 championships ) St. Johns Red Storm event has the NIT appearances with the most championships with 27 wins, 6 although they were denied one because of violation of NCAA. St. John’s also has the Helms Athletic Foundation Championship. In 2008, St. John’s celebrated its 100-year course of college basketball.
