While their songs soaked in traditional country influence, their punk background gives them an appeal Jagged edges. Their music and dynamic live performances have made them one of the main attractions in Colorado, resulting in a variety of fans of all ages.Founded in 2000, Jim Dalton (vocals, guitar) and Tyson Murray (upright kick), Railbenders tickets have mutual love of Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams, Roll Rock ‘N’, whiskey, mixed it all together and created their sound. Powered By Steady Rollin ‘Drums Graham Haworth, the group has attracted local awards, including “Top Country Band” by the Rocky Mountain News (2004 & 2005) and “Best Country / Roots Band” (2002 to 2005) annual Westword Music Showcase.The Railbenders event beat several other teams, Colorado, in the “combat zone” to win the coveted sponsorship Coors in 2004, a relationship which continues today. 2006 promises even more high-profile partnerships for the group, starting with & E’s “Rollergirls” television series.
