Mirah Yom Tov Zeitlyn (born September 17, 1974 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), is an American musician, based in Portland, Oregon.She has released five albums under the label K Records. It is a close friend and has collaborated with Phil Elvrum of the microphones. It actively collaborates with The Black Cat Orchestra.Mirah was born the youngest of three children, in Bala Cynwyd, a suburb of Philadelphia, where she lived most of his childhood. She began writing music at an early age with her first song in four years. When she was twelve, Mirah tickets appeared on Double Dare, television game show. “I’m really on the money that I won the Avoidance of Double Dare to pay for the time I spent on the Great Peace March for Global Nuclear Disarmament.” She began singing and conducting at 18, when she moved to Olympia, Washington and attended Evergreen State College.Mirah released her first album, Storageland on Yoyo Recordings in 1997 and joined the studio in 1999 . Traditionally a solo performer, Mirah struck out in late 2004 in the south-western U.S. tour for the first time the involvement of the group. The team consisted of Nora Danielson (who records on the grounds of mountain goats, intima, Tara Jane O’Neil, Liarbird), Dan Sasaki (Enemymine, Sedan, homes), Themba Lewis (Liarbird, intima, Tara Jane O’Neil, Jackie -O Motherfucker) and Alex Yusimov (Duck Duck Gray Duck and many others). Nora, Alex, and Themba were also recorded on the grounds releases Mirah’s. Mirah event also previously served on the drivers, all-female team of Olympia. Mirah music is featured in the documentary, Young, Jewish, and left.  In 2006, K Records issued a Joyride: Remixes, Re-Mix Album Other reports covering artists Mirah’s Songs. In July 2008, her song “The Garden” was used in the TV show “So You Think You Can Dance”. Her latest album, (a) Spera, was released on March 10, 2009.
