Tracy Darrell Trace Adkins (born January 13, 1962) is an American country music artist. He debuted in 1996 with the album Dreamin ‘Out Loud, released on Capitol Records Nashville. Since then, Adkins has released seven studio albums and two Greatest Hits compilations. In addition, he has drawn more than twenty singles on the charts Billboard country music, including the Number One Hits “(This Is Not) No Thinkin ‘Thing”, “Ladies Love Country Boys” and “You’re Gonna Miss This” , which peaked in 1997, 2007 and 2008, respectively. “I have something not included house” went to # 1 in Canada. All but one of his studio album has received gold or platinum certification in the U.S., his best selling to date, 2005′s Songs About Me, which was certified 2 × Multi-platinum for shipping two million copies. Trace Adkins tickets born and grew up in Sarepta, Louisiana , son of Aaron and Peggy Adkins, a mill worker. His musical interest came at an early age when his father taught him to play guitar. In high school, he joined the gospel group called the new commitments. He was also a member of Future Farmers of America (FFA). Later, Adkins went to study at the Technical University of Louisiana, where he also played football, and after graduating, he went to work on the drilling. He lost the pinky finger on his left arm in an accident, and asked the doctors to attach the finger at an angle so that he could continue to play the guitar .Trace Adkins event then moved on to play in Honky Tonk bars around Nashville, Tennessee in the early 1990′s. Executive Capitol Records spotted Adkins played Honky Tonk, and soon signed him to the label. Adkins is married to Rhonda Forlaw, and they have three daughters, he also has two daughters from a previous marriage.
