La Quinta Estacion (Spanish for “5-th station, frequently written by La 5 ª Estación) is a Latin Grammy-winning Spanish pop / rock band composed of two musicians from Madrid: Natalia Jiménez (lead singer and harmonica) and Angel Reyero ( guitar). Pablo Dominguez (2001-2008) (guitar, bass) was the third member until his recent split. The Group originated in Madrid with six members, while the remaining three moved to Mexico in 2001 after recording his first album of Tom Primera ( “Take # 1″). The first album by La Quinta Estacion tickets became popular in Mexico, as one of the songs (¿Dónde Iran? “Where will they go?”) Was chosen as the theme song for Clase 406, one of the most popular telenovelas of Televisa in 2002. After touring the country to promote their album, they decided to stay permanently. In the same year they were made Voy pasármelo Bien ( “I’ll have a good time”) in the tribute-album, Hombres G and SI years Fuera Mujer ( “If I were a woman”) for the soundtrack of Dame Tu Cuerpo, the Mexican film favorites Rafael Sanchez Navarro and Luis Maria Zetina. In February 2004 the band La Quinta Estacion event released their second album, Flores de Alquiler ( “rented flowers”) is produced exclusively in Mexico. The first single, El Sol No Regresa ( “The Sun will not be returned”) rock songs, which begins with Mariachi trumpets. This song talks about those who are trying to drink away their sorrow. Title line of the chorus translates as “after a few tequilas, the clouds away, but the sun is not coming back.” This song, according to the group, is a tribute they did for the Mexican people for the fact that the starting point of his career. The second single, Algo Mas ( “Something More”, written by Natalie) said about the feeling the author says is n ot love, and this “something more”, which executes it, and it is stronger than “distance, pain and nostalgia.” The video for this song was recorded in a bar in the historic district of Mexico City.In 2005, they received more than 1.5 million votes to become Grupo Latino to Ano ( “Latin band of the year) on a network of music videos from Ritmoson Televisa .1 November the same year, the band released a CD / DVD compilation of their hits called Acústico. In 2006 they released “Tu Peor Error” (your biggest mistake) The first single from their 3 albums “El Mundo Se Equivoca” (the world is wrong). “Tu peor error” is also remarkable for being the first album of the group to publish in a dual format discs containing video on the side, behind the camera to record an album.
