Kittie & Soil

Thursday 8 October 2009 @ 12:18 am

Kittie & Soil tickets, often written as soil, consists of four parts of a rock band from Chicago, Illinois, USA. Members currently include AJ Cavalier (vocals), Tom Schofield (drums), Tim King (bass) and Adam Zadel (guitar). Kittie & Soil event success came in 2001 when Pat Lynch WJRR Orlando rock radio station played a demo version of “Halo” in heavy rotation. Most labels bidding war broke out, the group chose J Records (division of RCA Records). Music industry legend Clive Davis, responsible for signing acts such as Pink Floyd and Bruce Springsteen, signed the band and said “you’re gonna be my only rock band at the moment. You are going to be a priority, and I want to destroy that group. The soil was originally formed in 1997 by members of Death Metal acts Broken Hope and the oppressor as a side project to their other group. Kittie & Soil first three releases, the soil (EP), El Chupacabra (EP) and their debut album Throttle Junkies, failed to break the group into the mainstream. Around the same time that all members of the soil left their other bands to focus on the grounds of their main project. The original team was Ryan McCombs (vocals) (currently in the Drowning Pool) Shaun Glass (guitar) (currently group Dirge), Tom Schofield, Tim King and Adam Zadel. McCombs left in 2004, after the group left their label (J Records), which, together with his family and then join Drowning Pool, and Sean in 2007, citing musical differences and focus on his new band, Dirge. McCombs was replaced by vocalist AJ Cavalier, as well as Diesel Machine.
