Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge (or simply the Brooklyn Bridge) is an American musical group known for their performance of Jimmy Webb’s “The worst thing that can happen” Johnny Maestro (Mastrangelo) B. May 7, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York, began his career in 1957 as the original singer ridges, one of the first interracial recording industry group. Patricia Vandross, elder sister of the famous R & B singer Luther Vandross sang with Johnny Maestro tickets during his tenure as lead vocalist with the crests. After a regional hit with “My Juanita” / “Sweetest One” on the label, Joyce, and two years of success in the diagram Coed Records with “16 Candles”, “Step by Step,” “listening to the angels” and “Trouble in Paradise”, Maestro left ridges for a solo career. Maestro was unable to reach his former heights diagram with the crest, but have Top 40 hits with “What a surprise” and “Model Girl” in 1961 and 1962. Johnny Maestro event should be in rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame. His first single as a singer identified ridge was “Sweetest One” (July 1957). Johnny & Bridge to continue to perform today, more popular than ever. I saw them in concert 2/17/07, and they were fantastic. At the age of 67, Johnny’s voice is better than ever. He deserves to be in service in the rock-n-Roll Hall glory.
