Edwin McCainTrio (born January 20, 1970 in Greenville, South Carolina), an American alternative rock singer-songwriter and musician.Edwin McCain is a known alternative rock singer-songwriter. While his albums are released under his name, he has a permanent group called the Edwin McCain Trio tickets Band. Team members include Larry Cheney (guitar), Pete Reilly (guitar and vocals), Craig Shields (keyboards, saxophone), Jason Pomar (bass guitar and vocals) and Tez Sherrard (drums, percussion).Long Touring friends Hootie & The Blowfish, Edwin McCain band signed with the same label, Atlantic Records. In 1994 he recorded his first major label album, honor among thieves in the output Lava Records (Matchbox Twenty, Kid Rock and Jewel). The report was released in 1995. His second album, greed Rose, gave birth to “I’ll Be”, major hit in 1998. This song also appeared on the charity album Live In X Lounge, as well as a live version of “Solitude”. Furthermore, it was featured and included in the soundtrack to the 2004 teen flick, “Cinderella Story. In 2003 he published a collection of acoustic versions of songs both old and new called the Austin sessions on ATC Records, Nashville-independent label (which McCain was the first artist signed following its creation in 2001). Mid-2004 saw the arrival of his first studio album in three years, entitled Scream & Whisper, which was released on another indie label, DRT Entertainment.
