The Cool Kids is an alternative rap group from the midwestern United States. The duo consists of Antoine “Mikey Rocks” Reed (originally from Matteson, Illinois) and Evan “Chuck Inglish” Ingersoll (originally from Gori Clemens, Michigan) . Self-described as “new black version of the Beastie Boys,” Cool Children’s Music “was released mainly through its home page MySpace, but has already signed the independent Chocolate Industries via their own label CAKE Recordings. , Reed and Ingersoll collaborated with several other music artists and performed in many media, such as Asher Roth, Kenna, The Bloody Beetroots, and Maroon 5.
Members of The Cool Kids tickets met in 2005 when Reed found a beat on MySpace, that Ingersoll prepared .
