Kool Keith: Dr. Octagon vs. Dr Dooom

In 1998, Kool Keith collaborated with Tim Dog on a single “Industry Wack,” performing under the name Ultra.  The following year he released a first-come, first-served under the name “Dr. Dooom”, in which the main character killed the album Off Dr. Octagon on the opening track of the album. August 10, 1999, Thornton released Black Elvis / Lost in Space. It peaked at # 10 on the chart Billboard Heatseekers, # 74 Top R & B / Hip-Hop Albums chart and number 180 on the Billboard Top 200.  July 25, 2000, Thornton released the album Matthew. It peaked at # 47 on the chart Billboard Heatseekers.  In the same year, Thornton collaborated with Ice-T, Marc Live, Black and Silver Pimp Rex for the album Pimp is in accordance with the group name Analog Brothers, Keith from performing as Keith Korg and Ice-T, as the ice oscillator.

June 5, 2001, Thornton released the album on Spankmaster Overcore Records Esham via TVT Records. It peaked at # 16 on the chart Billboard Heatseekers, # 11 on the main independent album chart and number 48 on the Top R & B / Hip Hop-parade albums.

In 2002, Kool Keith tickets began the Resurrection of Dr. Octagon record with producer Fanatik J, has signed a contract with CMH Records to release the album, which was completed at the end without much contribution to Thornton, in response to falling over the terms of the contract .  Thornton, Marc Live and H-Bomb formed a group KHM, releasing the album playing on November 19, 2002, changing its name to “Clayborne Family” for the release of their second album. October 12, 2004, Thornton released the mixtape Official Space Tape. The same day, Real Talk Entertainment issued the unauthorized release of Dr. Octagon Part 2. The album was terminated by court order.  April 25, 2006, Thornton released the album Nogatco Rd. called Mr. Nogatco. June 27, “The Return of Dr. Octagon was released OCD International, imprint CMH, advertised as the official results of Dr. Octagonecologyst. Some critics say that it was not as good as its predecessor. Thornton said, that he likes the album, but felt that she had suffered, his reputation as a musician. In August, Kool Keith events, carried out within a payment Doctor Octagon, but do not recognize the release of the album ROC.
