Don Felder

Don Felder (born September 21, 1947 in Gainesville, Florida), American musician and composer, known for his work as a guitarist Eagles from 1974 to 2001.

Don Felder tickets first attracted to music after seeing Elvis Presley live at Ed Sullivan Show. He received his first guitar when he was about 10, in which he stated that he exchanged with each other for a handful of cherry bombs. He was heavily influenced by rock ‘n’ roll, and when he was 15 years old, started his first band, Continentals, who was also a Stephen Stills of Crosby, Stills & Nash fame. Around the same time he also met with Bernie Leadon, later one of the founding members of the eagles.

Don Felder events and Bernie, both were at school, Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Florida. Bernie replace Stills, and the group became the Great Quintet. Interesting fact: in 1966, Gainesville High School Yearbook Great Quintet shown next to another student at Gainesville High and his team, which was designed for the glory of Tom Petty and his band of early epic. Felder gave Tom Petty guitar lessons and a half years in a local music store. After the band split up, Felder went to New York with a group of flow, which released only one album of jazz. While in New York, Felder improve their mastery of the guitar and learned various styles.
