The Assads

Sergio Assad, Brazilian guitarist, composer and arranger who often performs with brother, Odair Assad, under the name of the brothers Assad and Assad.Born duet in a musical family in Mococa, Sao Paulo, Brazil, Sergio Assad began creating music for the guitar not long after he began playing the instrument. At age 14, he organized and write original songs for Guitar Duo, he created with his brother, Odair.

At age 17, Assad tickets and Odair began his studies in the most famous classical guitar teacher in Brazil at that time, Monina Tavora, a former student of Andres Segovia. Assad events later went to the research and composition to a fund “National Music in Rio de Janeiro, and worked privately with the Brazilian said of the teacher, Esther Scliar.
