Salt and Samovar & Drug Rug

Taking its name from a popular slang expression for such a cheap, colorful ponchos, or you can pick up on the wall as a souvenir in a Mexican border town, Drug Rug far from the kind of electric Kool-Aid refreshed, Stoner-rocking hippie Wannabes one would expect from the name of the group. Instead, the duo singing guitarist Sarah Cronin and Thomas Allen in the fall shy charming indie-pop categories, which seeks the words as “shambling”, “Twee” and “Lo-Fi” in their reviews. Drug Rug tickets was founded in 2006 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, when Cronin and Allen met while working at the bar at the legendary Central Square Indie Rock Mecca Middle East. Engage in personal and creative partnership, the duo began writing and performing together as the folk influence of the acoustic duo, Drug Rug event will soon develop various friends from the local pop scene (including members of the Tulsa, Apollo Sunshine, and dead trees) to fill out their sound as live and tape. After signing to independent label Black and Greene Records, Drug Rug released their debut in autumn 2007.
