Ragbirds

Ragbirds are 5-Piece, headed by women, folk-rock band World Fusion from Ann Arbor, Michigan. They describe their music as “Global Infectious Groove”. Musical roots sound Ragbirds are complex – from gypsy, Middle Eastern, Americana, rock and Latin influences, all mixed with onions Celtic fiddler. In live performances the group includes a variation on a traditional African drum pieces, each member trading tools for hand drum. Songs are a positive signal, and include both pop hooks and improvised solos. This music, which corresponds to the stage of various sizes and styles – from the “listening room” that a herd of international audiences – at the jam-festivals, music groups – at bars and clubs with hyped dance floor.Ragbirds tickets benefit of many traditional folk instruments, mixing them with modern sounds to create an infectious Groove World rooted in the traditions of many cultures and eras. The band released three full-length studio albums, a live recording and one thing – their own production, and regardless released.The Ragbirds began in Ypsilanti, Michigan in 2005 and moved to nearby Ann Arbor in 2007. Vocalist and instrumentalist Erin Zindle and drummer Randall Moorebegan record Zindle’s original songs before they were a band to perform them live and these recordings became Ragbirds event debut album “Yes Nearby, which was released in summer 2005. The original lineup included bassist Jeff Stinson, guitarist and vocalist Adam Labeaux and drummer Greg White. After only six months, White left the band and was replaced by Tim Dziekan, who was a student of Moore.
