Paddy Casey, Fight Like Apes And Dead Sparrows

Patrick Paddy Casey Irish singer-songwriter from Dublin. From early childhood he spent much of his time learning his craft by busking on the streets of Dublin and Galway. Paddy was discovered by Sony A & R Scout Hugh Murray at the International Bar in Dublin, at a concert of legendary singer / songwriter night hosted by Dave Murphy. Paddy was signed by Sony, and ultimately adopted in the management company U2’s, the principle Management.Paddy Casey tickets appeared on the Late Late Show on September 7, 2007. Album open with fear, and over It’s Over Now, while the study of loneliness, loss, love and social problems facing the younger generation on the road. Paddy lists influences such as Bob Marley, Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder in his work. His second album, Living, saw Casey returned to the themes of loneliness and isolation with songs such as no need, want it can not be it and everyone is still ahead.He released his first album Amen (So Be It) in 1999. This album was produced by Pat Donne and was certified double platinum. Casey himself had played a number of different instruments in a short time spent recording it, and the fire track Winter Mandi featured as guest guitarist. Sweet Suburban Sky surface in the next year on the soundtrack to the award-winning U.S. TV creek teenage drama Dawson. Paddy Casey event received a nomination for best songwriter and best male singer of Irish Hot Press Awards. Hot Press readers themselves voted Best album debut album, as well as Paddy was voted Most Promising Act and his appointment in seven other end of the year categories. Touring saw Casey’s support for artists as REM, Ian Brown, Ani DiFranco and impostors.
