Flat Stanley

Flat Stanley, the title character in 1964 children’s book (ISBN 0-06-009791-4) by Jeff Brown (1926 – December 3, 2003) and illustrated by Tomi Ungerer. The project was started in 1995, Dale Hubert, the three classes, the teacher in London, Ontario, Canada. It is designed to facilitate the writing of letters from schoolchildren to each other, as they documented Flat Stanley tickets did with them. Dale Hubert received the Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence in 2001 for the draft Flat Stanley. Flat Stanley Project provides an opportunity for student interaction with students from other schools of the member who has already signed with the project. Students begin by reading books and study history. Then they make paper “Flat Stanley event “ (or photos of nature Stanley Lambchop) and keep a log for a few days, documenting sites and activities in which Flat Stanley is involved. Flat Stanley and the journal are sent to other people who ask refer to the figure as an invited guest and add to his journal, and then return them after a certain period of time. The project has a lot to do with GNOME Travel prank, except, of course, to focus Flat Stanley Project on literacy.
